Inspiring Change: Asia Greenhouse Project by Captivating International
Since 2015, our partnership with Captivating International has led to the establishment of 575 greenhouses for families in China’s Qinghai province. The ability to grow fresh produce has been a lifeline for the region, benefiting over 1000 residents.
The Asia Greenhouse Project has empowered these families to lead better, more financially secure lives. Besides receiving a greenhouse, families are trained in organic produce cultivation for the market. We continue to fund 50% of the project, matching donations to extend its impact. Beyond the tangible benefits, this project brings communities and families closer together.
Supporting Captivating International: The Santa Run
We take pride in sponsoring Captivating International’s annual fundraiser, The Santa Run, which serves as a lifeline for those in need.
In 2018, Captivating International and CYW co-organized the inaugural Santa Run in Shenzhen, China. Over 150 runners raced through the streets to raise funds for underprivileged children and families in Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan.
Empowering Through Sunshine Academy’s Benefit Fair
We’ve been proud sponsors of Sunshine Academy’s ongoing efforts to provide opportunities for orphaned children in government-run welfare centers.
Since 2014, we’ve collaborated with Sunshine Academy, sponsoring and participating in their annual Benefit Fair. Funds raised through this initiative support the education and well-being of vulnerable children, ensuring they have a chance for fulfilling and productive lives.
CYW Cares: Pigs for Poverty with Captivating International
In 2019, Captivating International initiated the Pigs for Poverty program, playing a crucial role in helping families, especially single mothers, establish pig farms in China’s Qinghai province.
We have been involved in the program from the outset, benefiting over 200 families. This program not only provides resources but also imparts the necessary skills for efficient animal rearing and selling.
Hub’s Commitment to Giving Back
The spirit of benevolence is deeply ingrained in our US-based team, Hub Folding Box. They are dedicated to making a tangible impact in the lives of others through various avenues.
Hub consistently allocates a significant charity budget and contributes to numerous charitable organizations and outreach programs. Their support ranges from helping girls in Ethiopia to working with underprivileged children in Boston, and many more.
